Notes
Items 051-001-253 to 051-001-259 are associated with the Samuel Henry Bailey family of Lordstown. Samuel was born in Canfield, Ohio on August 17, 1837, son of Harry and Lea(h) Bailey and sibling to Amos and Mary. The family moved to Lordstown when Samuel was five. Samuel married Sarah Ann Keefer (Keifer, October 8, 1839 - August 28, 1932), on December 26, 1859 in Liberty Township. The 1910 census finds Samuel and Sarah residing in Lordstown with their son Walter, his wife Catharine, and their grandchildren Seymour and Kenneth.
Their daughter Celestia A. Bailey, born July 6, 1861, married Stephen Albert Kistler in 1859, and died February 3, 1922 in Newton Falls. Daughter Delia(h) Bailey, born April 15 1863, married John J. Sinn on December 23, 1886, and died on January 3, 1931 in Newton Falls. Son Alvin S. Bailey was born on January 11, 1869 in Lordstown and married Olive Alverta Laurence on November 24, 1893.
